1 December

On the 1 December, the Christmas Tree in Trafalgar Square, London will be lit for the first time this year.

The tree is an annual gift from Norway. Despite not being the in the EU, Norway it is in the Single Market. Norway has all the advantages of the Single Market, can trade as a full member of the Single Market - but it doesn't have a say in the rules that govern the Single Market.

Outside we would lose access to cheaper goods and services and put thousands of jobs at risk.

It is perfectly possible to leave the EU, whilst remaining in the single market - like Norway - this would certainly protect jobs as well as making it much easier to find a sensible solution to keeping the soft border in Ireland.

Find out more about the campaign to keep the UK in the Single Market here.
